Very useful info as I have stumbled into a bunch of Craftsman tools of different eras.

The 1947 Sears catalog shows Craftsman items with the logo that you have designated as 1950-1964,

I came across an old 1/4" drive extention at a fleamarket. The logo and primative machining caught my eye so i bought it. My question is what era is my logo? I cant find it anywhere! Its close to the full underlined logo used from the 30s into the 50s. What makes this logo different is the underlining stops very clearly under the f in craftsman. Any ideas? Thanks for any help in dating this logo.
